Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of counseling services if you are not using insurance or are choosing to pay out-of-pocket. Health care providers are required to provide an estimate of expected charges for scheduled services upon request or before services begin. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. You may ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment. Texas Consumer Notice – Mental Health Services

In accordance with Texas law, including House Bill 4224 and Section 181.105 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, the following information is provided to help individuals understand their rights and available resources when receiving mental health services.

Access to Your Records
Clients have the right to request access to their mental health records. Requests for records should be submitted in writing to the therapist or practice. Requests may be made by email, secure client portal, or written correspondence. Records will be provided in accordance with applicable Texas law and privacy regulations. If you have questions about requesting your records, please contact the practice for assistance.
